The Owner
Hi, I’m Dacia Thomas the proud owner of Auntie’s Childcare LLC, where children are cared for like family and encouraged to grow at their own pace. With over 14 years of experience working with children, along with being a mother of three wonderful children of my own, I understand firsthand the importance of creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
My passion for childcare is rooted in meeting the unique needs of each child through individualized care, personalized learning, and intentional developmental support tailored to who they are. Every child learns differently, and my goal is to help each one build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong success.
In addition to childcare, I have spent over 6 years as a cheer coach, helping young people build discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence, as well as more than 4 years mentoring teenagers, guiding them through personal growth, leadership, and life’s challenges. These experiences have shaped my approach—leading with patience, encouragement, structure, and genuine care.
